Confederate symbols are still celebrated despite the ugly history they symbolize. John Oliver suggests some representations of southern pride that involve less racism and more Stephen Colbert.

It would put to rest all the BS romanticizing of the civil war. John Oliver is great.

I read that he only got his "green card" in 2009, but he completely gets it, same with Trevor Noah on The Daily Show. I agree, this should be required viewing, a complete history lesson on a comedy show...
