If you take Maddow's informal musings about Chad and the Niger attack, completely mess up the time lines so that Chad withdrew from Niger months before it was put on the travel ban list, put Tillerson in a position where he had absolutely no power to decide who was or was not on the travel ban list, claim Maddow's open questions are actually hard facts, and then have them repeated on every left wing radio and TV talk show, every left wing website, and have it coming out of the pie-holes of every single Democratic Party politician for YEARS....it MIGHT actually match the credibility standards of the right wing noise machine's conspiracy theory about Hillary Clinton and the Russia Uranium One purchase.
The irony of this is just mind-blowing. Having a bunch of asshats on Fox News, THE NUMBER ONE PEDDLER of half-assed post hoc ergo propter hoc conspiracy theories, explaining about the tenuous connections in Maddow's argument is like Hannibal Lecter criticizing somebody for serving white whine with human brains, when it's clearly a red wine dish.
Just a word of warning, Fox. You seriously DO NOT want to teach your viewers how to unpack a logical argument. Your entire business model, and propaganda technique rests on your viewers NOT being able to do that.

Do you guys not REMEMBER spending months claiming that Eric 'Fast and Furious' Holder PERSONALLY sold assault rifles to Mexican drug gangs for the diabolical purpose of bringing in gun control legislation in the United States?
Do you not remember devoting MONTHS to pushing Schweizer's stupid book 'Clinton Cash,' and covering every single conspiracy 'theory' in detail? By the time you were finished, there was no reason to buy the book, given that you'd covered every word in it twice.
Seriously, guys, you do NOT want to teach your viewers how to think critically. You'll be out of a job.

there's much reason for worry on FOX's part. Their viewers are in their late 70s/early 80s, sit in their chairs, and watch FOX's "news bunnies" tell them everything that already matches their narrow world view. Checking Trump's lies is for pansies who can't accept "alternative facts". The White House and FOX invented "alternative facts", and by gum, if it's good enough for our "president" it's good enough for FOX's octogenarian craft-matic patriots brigade!
