Honolulu pedestrians to face texting and walking fine

1. Every city and state should do this.

If someone is so consumed with something other than driving responsibly or crossing a street carefully then they deserve worse than a fine. They are a hazard to everyone and make everyone's insurance increase by being thoughtless and selfish. I am sick of people becoming more and more oblivious to anyone other than themselves. Humanity sucks since smartphones. There is no longer consideration or civil interaction with others in a busy environment. If they can not prioritize safety over basic human interactions that enable overpopulated societies to function then should stay inside their own home and live it up. DO NOT go out in public and ruin other people's lives just to check how popular you are and I do not want to hear the sordid details of your fight with your boyfriend as you block 15 people from going down a shopping aisle or waiting for you to cross at an intersection.

2. I think it was on 1001 ways to die.

There was a girl texting her boyfriend while walking through a parking lot as he is texting her also. Well, he hit her and managed to not only kill her but himself also. Yeah texting while walking and driving are just as bad but usually when you are the pedestrian you do not tend to kill others just yourself.
