First, he uses her for his own sexual gratification. And then, instead of owning up to his actions, he abuses her in front of the world, dehumanizing her and calling her a liar. His continuing victimizing behavior is so deeply offensive. As if she, and therefore all women, are nothing.

The Republican Party is the biggest danger to our freedoms. Nothing more than a pack of fascist Nazis. The entire party has been radicalized by an onslaught of vicious propaganda that Reagan initiated. I am old enough to have lived through the McCarthy era and this is little different than the war the Republicans launched against the liberals during the 50's. Republicans have always been a vicious pack of hyena waving flag draft dodgers. They claim to have the moral high ground while being wallowing in a swamp of filthy immorality. Their standard barer who the worship is a habitual lying crook without a shred of decency.

I remember even when I was very young my Dad used to say, “ Dirty, stinking, lousy Republicans”.
It was a long standing family catchphrase thing I heard it in the 60’s when we were watching the evening news. He hated Nixon, and Reagan with a passion. Didn’t talk to his father for two weeks when he found out he voted for Eisenhower. He would have lost his mind over BuSh and twitler would have finished him off now if he was alive.

but a damn lousy ALABAMA Republican. I hate to paint with a broad brush, but from my 6-month experience in Alabama, there are no stupider bunch of people gathered in one place than that state.

(Yes, yes I know there are good people in Alabama. I just hope they get out to vote for Doug Jones!)

He basically worked helping the poor, including both White and Black. He saw some change in the attitudes of the White folks, but concluded that it was mostly superficial. What troubled him was the level of ignorance that prevailed and fueled the racism. He passed away two years ago and when I attended his funeral I could not help from thinking, although he had aided hundreds, it hadn't really significantly changed the situation. This was reinforced in my discussions with several Black Catholic priests who attended his service. I didn't know one priest, over the years of those I met while visiting, that was a Republican. The were appalled by the system that prevailed and all expressed their displeasure with the obstructionism that prevented the poor working class from getting a fair share of the fruits of their labor. The general contentious was that the Whites were superior and those who were suffering were responsible for their own plight. Reagan's "welfare queens driving Cadillacs" dog-whistle was alive and well.

It's "help" for them, but "handouts" for everybody else.

They and their friends and neighbors are also not stupid, and not poor, they live in a very upscale area of Birmingham proper, so represent business owners, etc.
If you ever want to deeply piss off anyone here, in this state, or the South, just mess with their kids, esp. their daughters.

I am thrilled at the news of this Veteran Day confrontation of Moore, it is highly uncharacteristic and thus even more meaningful.

from what I am reading, people in the area are furious at Moore, as are many in the state.
Plus, happily, Moore has contaminated the Party here. heh heh.
