I know a lot of DUers don't stay up as late as I do and there are some who don't have access to TV. I used to tune in depending on the guests, but now it's always for the monologue. Stephen is not just clever and funny, but he speaks out, says exactly what needs to be said. And we sure need humor right now more than ever. With the relentless bad news every day, we really need to laugh.

I try to give back to DU when I can since it's sure been here for me, gotten me through some rough times - starting with the invasion of Iraq. I found DU in January, I think, of 2003, so DU has been my lifeline to sanity ever since.
