I wish I had HBO, but it's not really in the budget so I really appreciate you posting these videos here!

I know that a lot of DUers don't have HBO - or even cable - and Bill Maher has always been popular here. A long time ago it used to be posted sometimes, but then the videos would disappear - these won't.

I've noticed that he doesn't have RWers on anymore, I had trouble sitting through those. But then I came to realize that he does have those on who we used to oppose, but we don't hate them anymore because they can't stand Trump, either!

They all did plenty of damage serving Bush & kneecapping Obama at every turn. Trump is just Reagan/Bush Republican Louder to me. Yet during this RW shape shifting couple of years, I'm sure enjoying the vacay as much as you from their rudest & stupidest. .

But a lot of them - like her - have attacked Trump more ruthlessly than those who were always allies. And they're very popular with Bill Maher's audience. We're also seeing it on MSNBC. I used to turn off Joe Scarborough as soon as I saw his face, but now he's not only outspokenly critical of Trump, but he has guests who I've always admired, like Gene Robinson and Howard Dean. These are very strange times, and the country is divided like never before - and we're finding some very unexpected allies.

I'm a constant MSNBC early eve viewer (CH,RM, LO') and still get uneasy with MSNBC giving the "good Republicans" so much airtime on these three shows. I never see these "good Republicans" criticize the Republican past or ideology that has led to Trump. For example do they ever criticize/warn against the Koch Bros or ALEC or mention that Clarence Thomas needs to be impeached now that it's clear that he bold faced lied ( Anita Hill) his way onto the Supreme Court or propose scrapping the cap on Soc Security Taxes?. Rejecting Trump's savage style gives them the best of both world's...continued airtime ($) without renouncing their own core beliefs. IMHO.

I was kind of on the Richard Painter bandwagon until he a said that he was thinking of running for Franken's seat as a Republican. I felt violated, played for a chump that he just used MSNBC & the Trump Disgrace to build an id as an ethical bulldog for broadening his appeal.

Further Painter even had spoken out in favor of Franken & denounced how he was railroaded. So he's pounced on a position that will attract many, many still angry Minn Democratic voters, one that the Dem candidate can't espouse, and just might create the "swing vote" number that will take him to the Senate from Minn. in 2018.

Sorry. This kind of stuff is what disturbs me rather than makes me optimistic about these fairweather lifelong Repug allies.

The Fucking Moron personally is going after her. I had no idea. This is like the Communist blacklisting in the 50s, Hoover going after people all the time, and Nixon going after people like John Lennon. This is Nazi Germany or KGB type of behavior.
