Because the kind of reactive dipshit Trump is, he will take the endlessly re-asking about it again and again and again as proof that the country must be just waiting for him to do it and is mentally prepared for it. An easier excuse set up for him. That's its already a fait accompli. That people not will not be surprised when he does it. In effect, the press is normalizing the possibility within his simple mind. ie...they don't ask him say..."are you going to have Stormy Daniels murdered?" Because its not something he is rightfully expected to do. I don't know, I'm just uncomfortable with all this needling. He's like a little petulant neighbour boy. Every day his baker neighbor asks him, "are you going to eat that daily pie I bake and put on the window sill?" One day he'll just do it for kicks.
