Sanders: Trump firing Mueller would be 'impeachable offense'

Sen. Bernie Sanders weighs in on the possibility of Trump firing the special counsel, plus the brutal war the Trump administration is helping wage without congressional oversight.

I voted for Sanders over Hilary and then Hilary over any of the repug clowns.

But now we need some new voices - not the same one from Bernie (I still have a Bernie 2016 sticker on my late model car.)

While it is very important to reiterate the issues, it becomes tedious when the voice modulation and words are always the same. Almost robotic.

Let's get some younger voices into the mix. They can be part Bernie's message if they will but we should welcome new people to take the stand.

Sanders is a U.S. Senator and former Presidential Candidate. The Dems that he Caucuses with are in the Minority, so until the Repubs are kicked out of power, there is a limit to what can be done other than continuing to push and speak out for Progressive Values.

Sanders uses his position in the Senate and in the Media to act as a "Bully Pulpit" to push Progressive Values and to call out the Enemies of Democracy like the authoritarian Trump who supports Putin and others like him.

To those who say that younger voices are needed: Sanders Agenda and his so-called "Political Revolution" was energized by a lot of young people, and it has been part of his Agenda to encourage a new generation of Progressive Leaders to emerge and run for Office in Local, State, and National elections.

Until this new generation appears and gets into office, Sanders is right to continue to use his position as a Progressive Voice in the Senate and through the Media to fight for these sort of values, and against the Authoritarians like Trump and those who support him.

I think that it is unfortunate that some Sanders supporters and some Democrats do not get along. This is just the sort of conflict in our politics that the Russians are trying to create, by dividing us and conquering us. If, in fact, Sanders People and Clinton People were able to mend fences better after the Primaries, we might not have Trump in office right now.

Progressive People need to stand together and not fight each other if we hope to have a Democrat-led victory over Trump and the Republicans in November 2018 and in 2020. We need to put our differences behind us and unite against Trump and the Republicans. Not doing so plays into the Right Wing's hands.

I know Bernie often repeats the same points, but certain truths are important enough that they must be repeated and kept in view of the Media and the Public. Bernie stays "on message" and that is important. I don't think that anyone can accuse him of having unclear positions.

Also, he is trying to keep the Progressive Views alive in the Media, and is not just preaching to those who are active in Politics but also more casual voters, who need to hear this sort of Progressive message. So, we political junkies who follow the news closely may hear repetition from Bernie, but he needs to repeat these points to reach more casual consumers of Media.
