2. The question is whether there has to be a political motive to be terrorism

Which is yet to be seen in this case. I agree that had he been Muslim, the press would have jumped to that term by now. But there is still a lot of questions in my mind around that term, who is a terrorist and who is better described as a mass murderer? Pulse nightclub? Vegas Massacre? MSDHS? DC Snipers -- which ones are terrorists?

3. We need to rethink that. The instances you just mentioned were meant to inspire terror on a target

I am not sure I agree that terrorism has to be only motivated by a political agenda. Self-aggrandizement, hate crimes, whatever, terror is created by the actions. But I don't mean to get into semantics and your point is well taken.
I would just call them all hate crimes.

12. Exactly! He's Pro-Life, Anti-LGBTQ, Pro Death Penalty and Pro-Sex offender. He's one of them.

From CNN:
Conditt gave his opinion opposing same-sex marriage and free abortions while he supported the death penalty and eliminating sex offender registries.

All of these things point to a very Right-Wing, Conservative Christian person. Not surprising, since he was home-schooled.

Given all that. He's not a Christian Terrorist. Lord no. He was just a poor, confused, young white boy. So sad.

Basically, he's a part of their club so he can't be a terrorist.

"The cure for a bad guy with a bomb is a good guy with a bomb." (Best if said with forearms crossed, wearing a trucker cap) -- Then lean to the side a little and spit.

If the current right wing logic is carried forward, that's what you get, anyway.

If I need brain-dead public statements from Texas politicians, I'll rely on Louie Gohmert or Sid Miller.
