2. This was really bad

Daniels lawyer made a complete fool of himself. I commented last week that tweeting a picture of the CD in the safe was a trashy move, and now he's compounded it with this appearance.

Even if just as a tactic, Daniels side should be doing everything to comport themselves with dignity and class. Instead he is beginning to give the impression of being a self promoting shyster. It hurts the case and it hurts his client.

On the other hand, it does display how ego driven the profession can be, making it all the more relevant how Trumps struggle to find a lawyer is. This is a profession that queues up to represent OJ Simpson, but does not want their names or firms to be connected with Trump.

3. Oh please. The only one embarrassing himself is that toad Schwartz.

Pakman is wrong about Michael Avenatti. Avenatti did not make fun of Schwartz' weight. Avenatti joked about Schwartz needing a defibrillator if he is kept from interrupting Avenatti because Schwartz gets so worked up when Avenatti talks. Big deal. I don't think that's embarrassing. He just knows how to press Schwartz' buttons and I am fine with that. Nor is Avenatti calling Cohen a thug an embarrassment. It is a statement of fact. And then when Schwartz said Cohen could sue Avenatti for defamation for each time he said thug, Avenatti showed what a joke that was by repeating the word thug, showing he is not intimidated. As Pakman himself admits, the whole exchange showed Schwartz did not have a good response to any of the issues facing Cohen.

If this is "the most embarrassing half hour" Pakman has "ever seen on corporate media," he needs to get out more. But he does admit that he "never" watches "political shows," so it appears his field of reference is quite narrow. He obviously does not hear lawyers talk much either..

4. I agree with you. I usually like Pakman but I think he was wrong here.

He was a bit strange, to me...don't know how to express it...like he wasn't "getting it"....
