What is it like to be you?

I feel like this is a very hard hitting video.

Listen to it 3, 4, 5 times to get the full impact.

At first you may say, that’s not me, at first you may say, I agree.
At first you may question just why this is posted on DU.
Then your critical thinking skills start to bother you.

We are good and noble and righteous and pure while they are evil, immoral, uncaring, and stupid--not even worthy of being called human beings. They believe the same things about us.
There's no hope of middle ground or dialogue--just an endless war between us and them.
Given the feelings of one side towards the other, if the U.S. were not a world power an armed civil war would be expected with atrocities committed by both sides. This is ultimately not going to end well and history has proven that time and again.
I wonder, if in the midst of it were there Romans who recognized that their empire was in its decline leading to its eventual fall?
