Steven Miller was showing up on a lot of political talk shows early on in Trump's presidency. Besides spouting offensive policies, he was an off-putting young man in terms of appearance (nicknamed Niedermeyer by some). He soon disappeared on Sunday morning shows. Too bad he didn't look more like Cavanaugh. He might have gotten away with it. He obviously still has a lot of influence on Trump. He seems to be "revenge of the geek." The valedictorian of my high school class, fifty years ago, was a funny-looking guy who was the son of a janitor and got a scholarship to MIT . He never had a chip on his shoulder.
