Did you catch any of Colbert's live show? I tuned in, but Liz Bishop was going on about local elections so he was joined in progress! I immediately thought of another time they did that, when they cut off the newsworthy end of the Newhart finale!

(205,074 posts)He even had election results on the screen like the news channels. I fell asleep during part of it, so I watched the videos too. It's been a long week, so far.
And I can't believe Stefanik won again after all the protests and angry LTTEs. The "sign wars" looked pretty even and there was no strong Green candidate this time around to divert some of the vote. I was hopeful since there was a line at my voting place and they were stacked up outside when I went to leave. The only thing I can think of is that she can no longer call herself the youngest female member since she's in her 30s and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is 29.
