1. We weren't ever going to be able to clean up Trump's mess in a single election cycle.

He's shoved this country so far down into the sewer that it will take many years to climb out and clean up. But at least we've got a toehold now because of the House, and despite some very disappointing losses we aren't falling farther into the muck. We're slowly on our way back up.

3. Sorry, cannot see the connection you're trying to make

If anything, the Ghost Dance was a futile - albeit it noble and deeply moving - dance with nonacceptance of the reality of their future and wishing it weren't so. It is a poignant in its message . The dancers are ghosts themselves for their days are numbered. Sadly, it reminded me of a TV Evangelist asking viewers to put their hands on the TV to pray away their diseases and sins.
