to anyone who has ever met a 5-year old child, "no puppet! no puppet! you're the puppet!" was as good as a confession.

plus he asked russia on national tv to commit espionage and let him benefit from the resulting contraband.

there's much, much more, but if the republican party can ignore that, it's hard to imagine what it would take to get them to really object.

so far it's only been a little bit of whining not even backed up by votes from retiring members of congress.
