I am constantly trying to open peoples eyes about single use plastic, in particular. Why dont we use paper plates and cups instead of plastic and styrofoam?! I mention this at grocery stores re: their samples too. Could management consider using paper sample cups next time? So much more environmentally responsible. But plastic is cheap and they think itll avoid spills and burns. Often falls on deaf ears but nevertheless I persist. At least my friends are tuned into the issue now.
