The general strongly criticized Trump for discussing politics in that context, for putting commanders on the spot about issues outside their remit, and for bringing up the aircraft carrier technology (steam catapult versus electromagnetic). At no point that I noticed, however, did he say that Trump had revealed any secret information.

What Trump revealed was that he's a disgrace to the office. That must count as the biggest NON-secret of the year.
