Obama's chief photographer trolls Trump in new book

1. He wrote this to show how Trump disprespects the office of the presidency,

among other reasons. The CNN report says this photographer was also the photographer for Reagan as well as Obama, so he brings a long perspective to his observations.

2. This is not Pete Souza's first book.

Previously, he brought out, "Obama: an Intimate Portrait" which is just wonderful. It starts with Obama in his tiny, windowless basement office in the Senate as the junior senator from IL, all the way to the end of President Obama's last days in office. Full of serious, gut-wrenching moments of historical significance to light-hearted moments of Obama just being a regular man, husband, father.

"Shade" came out recently. It is funny, observant, astute and, at times for us dems, painful. In both books, Souza captured moments that will make you wince, but also moments that will make your heart soar.

The holidays are approaching. If you're stuck for presents for your favorite dems, either of these will be well received.
