And I'm glad to see him back, too - but he hardly left us bereft! The two shows on offer at the beginning of the week were so much better than the usual repeats, the cartoons and his "guest hosts," especially his old pal Jon Stewart. He really puts so much into his shows - he must know how much we appreciate it, especially now - in the deplorable age of Trump.

He even appeared when he was on vacation! I thought his interview with Jon Stewart was insightful for those of us that have followed his evolution since his Jon Stewart Daily Show Days.

He's not only back with a fury, but he left us with brand new shows when he was on vacation - now that was thoughtful!
