Trump was actually said to force the elder Macri to sell it to him by cajoling NYC authorities and local baks to boycott Macri - therby forcing the latter to sell and in effect cheatong him.

Inexplicably, the Macris insisted on befriending Trump. No one knows why exactly (Russian connections in common?).

Cheeto's been at the Macris' estate and golf course outside Buenos Aires numerous times; Macri, it's said, often let Trump win - to the point that it eventually annoyed his Orangeness.
