They are praising him for his WWll Service, good husband, family man and service to the country. Sadly the negative stuff is not being covered at all. Should it? Will it? I don't know.

3. No, we don't have to, but we can tell the truth

His belief system was not what most Democrats belief system is, in that respect we did not agree with him on most anything, but credit should be given to him for being true to his beliefs and at least representing the country with honor. He was true to his principles, whether you liked his principles or not.

Because of trump, it is difficult now to have any type of rage against any of the Bushes, I do believe they were both bad for the country, the #1 spot in the family goes to GW, but in comparison of what we have today, they conducted themselves with class.

I still think that GW is the 2nd worst president the USA has ever had, he was a clown and, for the most part, uninformed. He allowed Cheney to govern, while he enjoyed being called "Mr. president". GW is an immature man still, and to him occupying that desk in the oval office was a game. He has something in common with the man-child, which is a lack of understanding of consequence, not to the degree that the man-child has, but still to a high degree. I don't think GW understands the chaos his presidency left behind.

Now, on the main topic, GHW, his presidency had very little negative consequences, the best one was that Bill Clinton was able to get elected, in part thanks to Bush who was not a good president. And let us not forget that he did not invade Iraq when he could have, that is a nice thing I can say about him.

by Medhi Hasan. Excerts can be found at Democracynow.org 12/3.. How quickly we forget. Almost as if honoring the funeral of a Nazi. If Justice prevailed GHW Bush would have died in prison.

He could have built an eternal ally, but instead had to be sure that "communism was dead". I don't even believe that was his point. I think he knew the MIC needed a "enemy" to keep the money flowing.
So now we are back in a renewed Cold War, with a totalitarian leader that gave us Trump.

Look at the times when Reagan and both of the Bush reigns, not good memories or times at all. They do look good in comparison to what we have now, but that isn't saying much.

11. The *ADA which passed 1990, besides all the negatives.

What is the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)?

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) became law in 1990. The ADA is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and all public and private places that are open to the general public. The purpose of the law is to make sure that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.

The ADA gives civil rights protections to individuals with disabilities similar to those provided to individuals on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, age, and religion. It guarantees equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities in public accommodations, employment, transportation, state and local government services, and telecommunications. The ADA is divided into five titles (or sections) that relate to different areas of public life. https://adata.org/learn-about-ada
