Ret. Lt. Col: Michael Flynn Betrayed His Country, 'Unforgivable' - The Beat With Ari Melber - MSNBC

Ret. Lt. Col: Michael Flynn Betrayed His Country, 'Unforgivable' | The Beat With Ari Melber | MSNBC

Ari Melber breaks down what we learned from Mueller’s most recent filing: the sentencing memo for former Trump National Security adviser, Michael Flynn. Mueller notes Flynn helped with several ongoing investigation and a criminal investigation that he gave no further information about. Retired Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Peters tells Ari Melber Flynn “betrayed his country” by embracing the Russians and that even if there’s no jail time, “it is unforgivable”.

...he owes America and Hillary a PUBLIC apology. Whats to keep him from doing this again? is there probation or some kind of accountability?

I don't believe in capital punishment, but it's difficult for me to embrace no punishment for this piece of shit traitor no matter how material his testimony is in bringing down Hair Mousse-a-lini. I hope his plea deal prohibits his ever having his own show on Fox.

I hope he’s always met by people like that older bearded guy with the big “TRAITOR” sign wherever he goes.

I hope he’s never allowed to forget that he betrayed his country by climbing into bed with a hostile foreign power. And not just any hostile foreign power but our main adversary for several generations. That someone with his decades of service would turn like that...

I saw that interview with the retired Lt. Col. Peters. He didn’t mince words. “In my view, this is treason.”

I'm glad Flynn opted to come clean, instead of attempting suicide like McFarlane did.
