Folks like me do not support you. Why? You are not a member of the Democratic Party. And it does no good to crash the Democratic Party either. Your ideas are fine, but you blew it for folks like me.

But if Bernie gets the Democratic nomination despite that, then the fact that he's the longest serving Independent in Congressional history will help him in the general election with Independent voters.

will he accept then refuse and become an indie again leaving the Dems without a nominee like he does in Vermont?

is that the media needs to be held accountable for doing actual reporting on issues and advocacy during the elections and leading up to them. A focus on the substance of the candidates and not the typical horserace BS.

I'd hope, regardless of whatever other differences we have...."oh dear, he's not a Democrat"....that that would be a goal we Democrats and liberals could universally agree upon. I'd hope that whether or not we as a party would vote for Sanders to take us into the GE, that we would want whatever candidate we put up to demand this of the media. I'm tired of them getting away with doing a piss-poor job, and I refuse to accept that because "they are doing such good reporting on Trump" FINALLY....that they should be praised as the very ideal of our lauded 4th estate.
