2. I agree that this wasn't one of their strongest segments

It almost made light of the serious voter suppression which was pretty blatant in the midterms. However, this is still a comedy show, so I take it for what it's worth. Thanks!

And that's exactly why I started doing it. I know that a lot of people here don't stay up as late as I do - and I also know that many don't have cable or even TV - but the late night political humor helps me deal with the unrelenting disheartening news we keep hearing day after day, so I decided to pay it forward here.

I generally post what I watch, The Daily Show, Colbert and Seth Meyers - but I admit that I didn't see this tonight before posting it. I have a new laptop that wouldn't let me log in and I was struggling with that.

DMs stand for direct messages. On Twitter, you have a tab that allows you to privately message any other user who follows you (or those you don't follow you who have their DM settings open to everyone). Most people refer to it as a DM for short.

I signed up for Twitter ages ago, back on DU.2 when others did, but I don't do much with it except Retweet news Tweets I read here - so I'm pretty clueless, DU is still my news source.
