2. I am not defending Dump by any stretch of the imagination but....

During those times there were a lot of doctors writing letters for people to get their children out of the draft. A lot of people actually stayed in college to avoid the draft. A lot of people used lawyers to avoid the draft. Some went into the Texas Air National Guard to avoid the draft. It was almost a sport to avoid the draft. Blaming Dump for avoiding the draft is kind of a cheap shot as thousands did the same thing. Jumping on Dump for using the military as a cover for his crime investigations is quite another. Dump does nothing for anyone except himself. He would drown his own children before he would let himself go under water.
