When Stanislav Andreski first coined the term, he was referring to former soviet-bloc countries attempting to morph toward democracy. Who ever thought we would see it in practice here in the US ?

must really get people wondering what the hell a "kakistocracy" is. It's probably creating a lot of curiosity though, so you're raising the level of discourse, whether that was intended or not. Good job!
