sources in the FBI an indictment against was Clinton Foundation was going to happen anytime, and then two days later, gave a half-assed apology saying he should not have reported that, though the damage had already been done.

I was very disappointed in Rachael giving Baier accolades at the time for admitting he made a mistake, saying "everyone makes mistakes", and presenting it as though he was courageous in coming out and admitting it.

That was no innocent mistake

"Fox News anchor Bret Baier apologized Friday for reporting that federal investigators had determined that Hillary Clinton’s private email server had been hacked and that an investigation would lead to an indictment of Clinton after the election.

In fact, Baier said, after checking with his sources, there is no evidence at this time for either statement.

Baier, the anchor of Fox’s evening newscast “Special Report,” went on the air Wednesday to report that the FBI had determined that Clinton’s private server, which she used while serving as secretary of state, had been hacked by “five foreign intelligence agencies.”

He further said on Thursday, during an interview with Fox’s Brit Hume, that a separate FBI investigation — of the charitable Clinton Foundation — was “likely” to lead to an indictment of Clinton after Tuesday’s election."

And I did remember Colbert announcing his auto accident, guess he rescheduled. But then he also had "The Mooch" on - I guess he likes to debate the news. I know that this guy can't be popular here, but he is a political guest, so I figured some might be interested - I'm not expecting recs, LOL. Thanks for the information.

I think it is a good thing

I was just providing a little background for those unfamiliar, since that incident was brushed under the rug rather quickly after it was retracted.

He is a partisan hack, though he contained himself somewhat in that interview, Colbert, in a nice way, held his feet to a "warm" fire, and the audience sure expressed what they felt about a Democratic House

Thanks

If we are to become more united, each side has to understand the other side better. I also applaud all the lefties that courageously appear on Fox so called news. Would be nice to see Hannity guest on Seth Meyers or other talented witty trump basher talk shows. But that will never happen because the playing field would not be tilted in his favor. Because he a propagandizing coward that earned his dirty fortune spewing the lies that serve the interests of the morbidly wealthy, at the expense of Democracy and the future of the planet.
