1. In seemingly inexplicable cases like this there is usually a legal flaw blocking prosecution

I have noticed that in many cases of seemingly crazy light sentences there was often a rational explanation. Maybe the evidence is inadmissible because of a flawed search violating the constitution, or a required witness refuses to talk. Or a statute of limitations has run out.. I bet something like that is behind this crazy light sentence for Epstein.

2. This is just stomach-turning.

The more I hear about this, the more shocked and horrified I am. I cannot believe what this sick motherfucker - and the men who associated with him - got away with. These poor girls - and most of them were literally poor and desperate - were so exploited and abused. I hope to hell that this investigation is not over and that he gets what is coming to him.

It figures that Trump would befriend and admire someone like this.
