Full Measure on CBS

I happened to turn the TV to CBS this AM and the show "Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson" was on. After a few minutes it was clear that they were a right-wing program. So I did a few minutes of goggling and find that it is a broadcast by Sinclair Broadcast Group. If I remember correctly this is the same group that made the news a few months ago because all of their TV stations were using exactly the same words in discussing the same topics.

It is looking like the Right is attempting more and more propaganda on not just Fox but elsewhere as well. We have not a mess on our hands these days in terms of "fake news". Everything seems to have a political spill on topics. Very frustrating.

There was this teacher yammering on it today who was angered by her school because of its far-left wing agenda.

The only connection with CBS is that your local CBS affiliate is owned by Sinclair.

3. I worry that many people will simply listen to this propaganda and accept it as real news.

I don't know if it is simply a reflection of our society these days or total lack of regulation by the FCC. Journalism seems to be not only under attack but possibly just another outlet for dis-information. Surely there has to be an answer for this?

4. In some ways, Sinclair is more dangerous than Faux News, due to their local ownership...

...and overall market share. In Syracuse, NY, Sinclair owns two out of 4 local stations (the NBC and CBS affiliates).

6. From what I saw there was a very anti-union piece and also discussion about fake news. It was

very obvious to see they were very right-wing in their thinking. Just blew my mind that CBS would have such a show. I wonder, is this broadcast just on Sinclair stations or actually on all CBS stations? Definitely not "fair or balanced".

7. My local (Albany, NY) CBS affiliate is a Sinclair station, too

Not paying attention, I almost tuned in, thinking this was Samantha Bee - which is shown on the channel just above it here. I also avoid their news broadcast which, strangely enough, comes on just before I tune in to Stephen Colbert!
