Should Robots Pay Social Security Taxes?

Automation: Meet your new coworker, they don't eat, sleep, or pay social security taxes, but maybe they should?

Automation is about to cause a crisis in the work force by displacing American workers with highly skilled, fully functional robots...

Currently taxes favor employers who use machines where people once worked, could putting a tax on those machines be a way to fund social security and medicare in our increasing automated work place?

Maybe it wouldn’t go directly into the current Social Security program, but taxing robot labor makes a lot of sense.

It's as if Hartmann hasn't a clue how Social Security works, which isn't true.
