My plumber takes Venmo. But I do remember there was a time when people still used checks.

1. Like most, I pay online, via credit/ debit card, paypal or sometimes electronic app for most things.

But, I still use the occasional check and I do NOT want them to disappear.

5. Damn, I love my checks.

The idea that everyone has to wait for the money and banks have to work to process it for a fee. 20 bucks for a years worth of checks, and supporting post office workers cause I use stamps. All good for me.
