I was about the age of that kid, I was madly in love with her, and Ann Margaret, I was about seven years old.

She has always been one of my favourites and I may have watched most of her films a few times over, when I turn the channel and she is on, I watch it until the end.

RIP you beautiful and gracious woman who brought so much joy and love to the World with your performances, your beautiful voice, and your animal activism.

I knew this day would be coming. I am so glad your post was the first notice I saw.

Thanks.

She left this life over 38 years ago at an early age, but I can still hear her sing this song.

And Romania is where the Pan Flute is from - it's a traditional folk instrument of Romania, NOT of Peru or South America, even though they have similar instruments down there. Yes, this song was one of my mom's favorites as well. My mom was from a Polish Catholic family - and believe it or not, Doris Day (the name is not her birth name) was also of Polish extraction.

She seemed like a super nice person, too. I even have her autobiography! Mom gave it to me.
