....elections dirty tricks.
Since Walker and the Koch brothers targeted Wisconsin for a hostile takeover they have built a political machine that is adept at stealing elections. It was no surprise to me, a 41 year resident of the state, that the Russian collaborated with this Wisconsin political machine to deliver Wisconsin to the republicans.
Realize just how stacked the political deck of cards in this state is. They (R) killed the state (mostly democratic) teachers union and made then powerless. They (R) gerrymander the state in secret meetings to draw the maps. The results. It is as badly gerrymandered as North Carolina. They (R) used every rotten political trick in the book to suppress Democratic voters. They (R) bought and paid for the state Supreme Court to the sole advantage of republicans. And last but not least they (R) have a compliant state press (with some exceptions).
Wisconsin was used as a test case to see just how far money and bought politicians could go to move a blue/purple state to a near solid red state.
In my opinion, they will go all out in 2020 to further their national goal to put republicans in power for decades to come.
Look at the SCOTUS dirty tricks they have used to stack that court 5-4 conservative vs liberal justices. The SCOTUS, seen as the last line of defense for many national issues.
Ignore the past election result at your own peril. NO at the nation's peril.
