I have never heard that NG is a problem with metal gas lines. Is it because of old pipes?

There is a sort of perverse thrill in watching the video of the destruction of a KFC, from the dead calm of the street light preceding the explosion, to the striped walls collapsing and the whirl of burning confetti.

All the gas lines not being able to handle NG any longer. Cannot use metal for NG, have to use PVC.
To me, disclosure of need for gas line replacement needs to be informed to buyers of older houses, like radon and termites and worked out before closing. This is hidden disaster, ego, the clip.
