1. Thanks Rhiannon!

I'm glad he's back! But I've seen much better shows. First of all, I thought he was kind of rude and dismissive of Hakeem Jeffries, who I thought was a very thoughtful, impressive guest.

Secondly, Buck Sexton is a total fuckwad. I can't stand that guy and I can't understand why Bill would have him on the show.

Jennifer Granholm was the bright spot on the show and offered the most impressive talking points. I really like her.

I'm sorry, I know some people really like Marianne Williamson, but I think she is a total fruitcake. Not that she doesn't make some good points, but overall, she is just too out there to ever have a chance in hell of winning the nomination and I don't see the point in wasting anymore time on her.

Anyway, thanks again for posting! I still love watching, even if I'm not thrilled with this particular episode.

I kept waiting for the video of the interview with Hakeem Jeffries! And I sure agree with you about Buck Sexton! Here we waited a month for Bill to come back - especially after the the debates and all the OTT offensive Trump news - and that's who he chooses to have on?? Jennifer Granholm, I agree, was the voice of sanity tonight. I remembered that she was already scheduled before his "vacation" and she was the best part of tonight's show. Marianne Williamson occasionally brings up something we can identify with, but I agree that she's pretty "out there." However, Bill is also a comedian so he probably enjoyed her contributions.

I looked up "Buck" since I'd never heard of him before and it turns out that his associates who I have heard of are particularly offensive right wingers.

While what she says sounds positive, when you break it down there is always a jab at democrats.

What she called "wonkiness" in the debates is really democrats having plans and solving problems. The only people who don't like that are republicans. The "total corruption of the system" thing is overwrought.

I'm tired of it and her.

Cheers!

Which inexplicably was never uploaded. And I'm of two minds about this particular panel discussion - which they never make available - since as good as Jennifer Granholm was, Buck Sexton was particularly irritating!

when I saw the name on the guest list, my first thought was the "Tuck Buckford" character in the skits on Colbert.

When I searched and typed as far as "Buck Sext" and it still hadn't auto-filled the rest of his name, I knew he was a real nobody.

And I looked him up, too - I'd never heard of him, either, and I was also curious if any set of parents actually named their child "Buck." But it was worse than I figured, what I found said he's associated with RW sites and RWers who I have heard of. Why he was on Bill's return show is a mystery to me - especially with all the breaking news we're dealing with these days.

based on Alex Jones.

They're all still funny. I was surprised just now in the rec list on YouTube that Alex Jones went along with the joke and did his own "I'm the real Tuck Buckford" video. He may be the only rightwing crackpot with a sense of humor.

I read a posted report in the Apt. complex office that detailed the chemicals in the tap water OMG "out there" is where we must go to avoid extinction.
Please please think critically. It is impossible to return to the pre drumpf "good old days" that were so bad that people voted in drumpf because they were desperate for change.
Jesus is "out there" in the radical left. The Kingdom is within you. Mark 17:21 Where is your heart? That is the place to start. Oops, that was Buddha. Gandhi was "out there" and he liberated India.

And that includes the water that I give to my pets. I got a rash that was attributed to the water - and I've been drinking and using water from the tap for my whole life - but I heard a neighbor had the same reaction, so no point in taking chances and haven't had the same issue since.

I agree with you that we'll have a long way to go to return to any kind of normalcy - let alone to repair the damage - once we're rid of Trump. But we've got to work at it with all we've got to ensure that we have a future. Meanwhile, it does help to look at life with whatever humor we can muster, that's the reason I post Bill Maher and the other late night comedians here.

It's a long way from the tap root to the dinner table to the health Care system. It could be more cost effective to not consume the carcinagins to begin with.

Marianne is better at it. How does VP Mike pray for less cruelty down on the border? See, I just jump to not interconnected things. I wrote a letter to LBJ in '65 and asked him to please stop the war. I was naive and idealistic. Always will be.
