America Is The Wisdom of a Third Grade Dropout -- I Won't Have A Problem If You Aim High And Miss

You are what you repeatedly do. Therefore, excellence ought to be a habit, not an act.

Ego is the anesthesia that deadens the pain of stupidity. Pride is the burden of a foolish person.

You wanna make an impact, find your broom.

When you hit rock bottom remember this -- while you're struggling, rock bottom can be a great foundation on which to build and on which to grow.

How ya livin'?

I love this gentleman's message but I could have done without some of the "effects".

It's about the lessons and wisdom of his father (who is the 3rd grade drop out), Roger Rigsby.

I read it at a particularly dark time in my life and it lifted me in ways I can't enunciate is short space. His words had me laughing at times and crying at others, but his book set me back on the path and I will always be grateful for his inspiration. I am not a religious person (Dr. Rigsby is, but not in a preachy, in-your-face manner.), but the strength of this book transcends religion and speaks to everyone.
