I watched this last night. It was pretty darn good.
Not sure how much longer it will be available to view as the price of the DVD is being shown.
That said, catch is now while you can.

(20,868 posts)I'm trying to find more links for the B. B. King program that PBS American Masters will be showing on television Sat. night.
American Masters
B.B. King
The challenging life and career of blues guitarist B.B. King; candid interviews feature Bono, Bonnie Raitt, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, and Ringo Starr.
Cannot find any links for this one other than telling me it is on Sat. night.
Any idea at all?
As for Woodstock, lots of chances to see it in August. Thanks.

(20,868 posts)I'm watching for free with rabbit ears believe it or not.
I pick up several different PBS stations.
I tend to stream online to watch PBS as it comes in better.
I plan to watch the B. B. King program on Sat. if I can bring it any way I can pull it off.
Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.

(20,868 posts)I remember when Woodstock happened.
It was a big big deal -- all of those people in one place and nothing went wrong.
I was very young when it occurred and were my parents ever in a state of absolute shock.
It was a unique time to be alive in this country.
I liked it!
Even with all of the problems that were going on at that time, they seem almost mute compared to what we are dealing with today.
I really enjoyed it as well. It was like taking a walk down memory lane for me.

(41,116 posts)It puts you in a peaceful, pleasant and nostalgic mood.
Kinda bittersweet too because it was such a special era and wonderful event, but we 'can't go home,' so to speak.
Must keep moving forward and try to clean up this huge mess!
Summer of 1968 I remember the horrible assassinations, and a Henrix concert we tried to go to. The folks said no, which was disappointing, but best because it was a 3 hr. drive and we were still quite young. La vie.
Anyway thanks for posting this, I'll send to some folks today to watch.
Have a good one and peace.
