7. I am operating from a foregone conclusion - modern society will collapse.

Once it does, and the Mad Max dystopian era begins in earnest, I really don't care to stick around for that part. I feel bad for my children, who will almost certainly live in that era...but after I am gone, realistically I won't have much of a dog in the fight beyond my residual DNA in those children.

I wish them - and all humanity - luck in that struggle. Mass starvation. Global wars for water and land. Nuclear fallout. And the very real possibility that they will be alive at the time the LAST human to survive is born.

It never had to be this way, but greed is the drug that our little monkey brains could not adapt to or control...and greed for more than a person needs is what will result in the end of us all.

Good luck to the roaches, evolution will allow them to have a go at the top of the ladder eventually...hell, if they eventually develop opposable digits, they would probably kick our asses anyway!

But I cannot. Not at all. 2020 will be our last chance to collapse gently, gradually, with some time to make a few sustainable adjustments that will keep humanity going for a while. But if Donald wins a second term, the collapse will be rapid, chaotic.

However, gotta point out that the video seems to have been made before the 2016 election when it was not completely impossible for otherwise intelligent people to make bloody arses of themselves by voting for the worst possible candidate in the history of our country. How do these people stand, today, in light of all of the facts -- real facts -- that have come to light about this lying, bankrupt, traitor? (I know some would love even more the orange haired racist in the White House, but some perhaps a little less, and others not at all.)

Like the one guy says, they were pissed and just wanted to stick their thumb in the eye of the DC Establishment in general , many never wanting or expecting Trump to actually win. Protest votes like back when Perot ran.

Hopefully I'm right and they now know better so this time they vote for our sane candidate in numbers large enough to overcome to the inevitable cheating and other shenanigans.

But then again, I've always been an optimist.

But don't worry! Someone will come along & assure you that our big brains will get us out of this!

Everyday I wonder at the human lottery that I won by being born when & where I was.

As a species we have stopped evolving- a painful but true fact. Those that don’t evolve parrish.

I too am sorry for the generations that follow. All that allies the planet will be solved when we are gone
