Robert Reich: How Corporate Welfare Hurts You

Sorry, we have to drastically cut and eliminate programs and services for the people who desperately need them most, from infants to the elderly. On second thought, we are NOT sorry! This is vulture capitalism and it is here to stay.

We will trim your bones of any leftover gristle if we have to because there are poor, innocent special interests that are always starving and they are the real and truly deserving needy. The rule is that those who have more need MORE. It is simple logic. Oh, and pro-life...la...la...la. Furthermore, tax cuts, deficit, tax cuts, deficit, etc. Also: jobs!!! Creators! Jobs, you hear?

"Blessed are the wealthy for they shall own the Earth and the meek can snuff it for they are useless eaters in my eyes." he said unto them.

This is something that has to stop. No, it really has to.

Former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich explains the policies that line the pockets of corporations while hurting ordinary Americans.

A heist in plain sight.

Of course, taxpayers make up for all that, as well. Then, people getting the assistance are denigrated, to boot.

When a word like welfare, (as in, am looking out for your welfare) was twisted around to have a negative and demeaning connotation, that was a big sign something was really wrong.

never stop to think about the money they are paying to fill in the pay gap. they never look at how employers not only cheat their workers, but rob the community as well.
