The very fate of our Democratic Republic (a term deliberately chosen to be inclusive of both our political parties) is at stake! American elections should be decided by Americans, and they should not just be smear campaigns - they should be substantive discussions of the issues and a fair and open contest to see which candidate has the best plan for leading our country forward - and nothing else. Our very national sovereignty depends on it. American elections for Americans! should be the new rallying cry.
