some reporter needs to ask;

"Mr President, did President Putin have the Siberian forest raked before the fire started, and if not, why deny California help but not Russia?"

Put him on the spot and piss him off.

Then he'll try to get the reporter who asked it, kicked out of the WH Press Corps.
Just ask Jim Acosta (CNN) how that strategy works.

and feigning an inability to hear, or ignoring a question, is getting pretty thin.

Journalists need to ask the important questions... often and loudly.

He doesn't give a shit about the blue states. So much for being President of the whole country. He does all he can to polarize and divide us.

We're talking countries, not US states...
Uhhh, yeah maybe we should secede, and become a
"Republic" as referenced on our flag.
Prob "Not a good move", for a number of reasons.
But then - No more subsidizing "Red welfare states" thru Federal taxes.
To put it in perspective, "No taxation without equalitarian representation"
- which means the Electoral College has go to go...

and many counties that are Republican. I fully appreciate that this map from the 2016 Presidential election focuses on land size/county, rather than population:

However, if I were a Republican, Democrat, independent, or any functioning human being living in any California area affected by the fires since 2017 (and there have been many that were catastrophic), i would be OUTRAGED at seeing this.

I don't mean to politicize suffering and tragedy, but this is too much. I hope the folks that are in a position to do so in California (e.g, California Democratic Party and local Democratic organizations) start micro-targeting issues like this to relevant geographies to chip away at every single voter for the next 365 days. Something like this also has impact at the state and local levels, even if it won't change the vote at a national level.
