The people are longtime, dedicated professionals who love their jobs and have a fierce loyalty to those institutions that are dedicated to protect and promote the United States. While there are a few political appointees in the ambassador roles at every change in the presidency, there are many more that rise within those ranks to positions of importance as did Masha Yovanovitch.
