President Biden or Sanders should put a hard stop to this nonsense as a part of any trade deal. This should be a campaign issue since it is proven to kill people and impact the global economy.

they should be held accountable for the global cost of fighting the pandemics as a result. Maybe then, they would act.

He was a ranger in a big national park and was tasked with making sure tourists kept their distance from big animals and discourage stupidity. He said one day he was watching a crowd of people and a well to do guy from China was talking to him about the animal they were all observing and other wildlife. The man from China was fascinated at all the wealth of wildlife in our country. My friend found that intriguing so he asked about wildlife in China, like, "don't you have any wildlife in China?"

And the Man from China says, "Oh no, we don't have wildlife, we ate them all." in a matter of fact tone. My friend and I talked about the great famine and how people will eat what's available if they're starving.
