Let me watch the video once more.

It was in one of my first piano books when I was little. I played various arrangements as I grew up as a musician. I have now played the entire symphony with this last movement and a huge chorus right behind 4 or 5 times. I have never not cried. I cannot listen to it without crying and getting massive goosebumps. Some pieces just get to you I guess, there are several I have played that I really never want to play again because it is a little embarrassing to be playing and dealing with tears. LOL!

Groups of people doing something beautiful all together for no other reason than to bring love and beauty into the lives of others. What could ever be more moving than that?

Sometimes symphony productions are so cliche in people’s minds as scores in movies etc we forget what goes into it. Watching this build up to symphony level with chorus, strings, brass....just amazing

But yes, this is in no small part due to the composition itself

I had seen this video before and sought it out before going to bed last night. (And yes, I confess to tearing up watching it, as well).
I was watching the faces of the singers. There seemed to be two expressions: 1) earnest attention/emotional involvement in the music and 2) joy -- many of them were just smiling while singing.

Also, thank you for expressing so well why I sought out videos like this last night:

Groups of people doing something beautiful all together for no other reason than to bring love and beauty into the lives of others.

Where was that performed? My guess would be Spain, France or Italy. Anyway, it was truly stunning.
