I watched Andrew Cuomo's address about the shut down and how it affects New York and I gotta say

he was terrific. Our own guv Ned Lamont is very good but a little bloodless. Cuomo was just terrific if a little long winded. But I'm housebound all day today so what the hell.

He explained everything. He knows New Yorkers and he knows how they think.

He even explained how he's not gonna "shut down NYC." He handled it like a real question but explained why, even if he wanted to, he couldn't do it. These things have to be explained to some people in an accent and cadence they are used to hearing and Cuomo has that.

It was a stellar performance with a little personal home life with his dad and sibs thrown in but it was kinda fun. And, as they say in New York, "it wouldn't hurt..."
