Here is western New York people are acting like they're immune to everything. No one, absolutely no one, is taking any sort of precautions. Stores....packed, and not a mask or a pair of gloves in sight. Bars.....still open and packed. Disaster parties.

My daughter's brother-in-law believes the entire COVID-19 "scare" is a creation of the media to turn the U.S. into a socialist nation. He also insists everyone buy more guns to fend off the socialists.

This country is doomed. Just like there are sane, normal people who don't trust Trump and want him out of office, there are also MAGAts who believe he's the second coming of Jebus. The sane people are practicing social distancing and protecting themselves as much as possible against the virus. The MAGAts believe the whole COVID-19 "scare" is a hoax and aren't altering their behavior one iota. I wonder where they got that "hoax" idea from?

cycles. What a change it would be to get an honest Democrat in that district.

schools and universities closed (we're educators, and over 65).

There is no TP. I suspect that the local hotels bought up a lot of supplies before we got to Costco.

We normally stay away from the beach during spring break anyway, but the Gov. just closed bars and restaurants after 5. That means another run on the groceries while thousands of college students cook and create parties in the hotels!

Parents should have put their foot down firmly and told these kids to stay home or else no money for the trip and no tuition for next quarter.

The motels and bars that will probably be covered with virus, requiring a big cleanup afterward.

Makes one wonder how many parents or grandparents will die due to kids and grandkids going nuts for spring break...

Any idea why this beach was not closed prior to spring break?

may do more long-term damage than the actual illness, somewhat like a war.

Because this damn thing is so elusive and the way it spreads, it invites carelessness and complacency which will result in many parents and grandparents (like me) dying.

I hope our public wakes up soon and thoroughly educates themselves with real professional facts. That will save lives.
