1. That is scary, on one level, but on another, it is quite reassuring.

It's good to know that somewhere, people aren't listening to Trump.

coronavirus, the Trump administration has accelerated the regulatory rollbacks. Now, according to the NYT, they are weakening auto fuel efficiency standards, loosening controls on toxic ash from coal plants, relaxing restrictions on mercury emissions and weakening the consideration of climate change in environmental reviews for most infrastructure projects.

Here's the link: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/25/climate/coronavirus-environmental-regulations-trump.html

But yes, right now, the air in Denver is very clean, the sky blue and the clouds majestic. The view of the mountains is magnificent!

I'm thinking when we win in November, we can reverse EVERYTHING Trump and the Republicans have done.

And this shit will become fast and furious while we're preoccupied.

On edit after reading the link: the fucking fuckiness of the fuckers is fucked up beyond all fucking belief.

The administration’s industry allies applauded the push to compete deregulation policies as a way to deliver certainty to businesses when the economy is in free fall.

The certainty is already there you motherfuckers, abide by what stands to keep that certainty. Don't go making brand fucking new changes and call that fucking certainty.

It's not going to last, of course, people tend to crack rather badly after a couple of weeks or so.

A spectacular comet flies by Earth, and almost everyone goes outside to watch it. In the morning they have all turned to dust, except for two teenage girls, a couple of guys, two scientists, and of course, zombies.

There are several shots of empty streets that look like this drone footage.

I would imagine Neil deGrasse Tyson, aka "Buzzkill of Science Fiction," would have a field day tearing it apart.
