I'm going to try making some of the slightly simpler ones I've seen that just call for fabric and elastic. I can probably modify one to accommodate a square of hepa filter.

I have no plans on going anywhere, for probably another 2 weeks but I want to be prepared for when that time comes.

Which are not as completely "fitted" as the duckbill style and may not be suitable for hospital use, but will be a BIG help for home use.

Just make the Olson-style mask with a "pocket" that has velcro along one edge, then cut up a HEPA vacuum cleaner to fit in the pocket.

This makes a reusable mask- the outer cloth shell can be sanitized in the laundry and you insert a fresh piece of vacuum bag.
