That's not a "library" because it has food, not books. Can you explain, please? Apparently there's something here that I'm not getting.

The owners of the little library decided to feed people with it instead of providing books.

Although we do need things for the mind, right now food is sometimes hard to come by, for some people.

That's why it's heartbreaking. That's my guess, anyway.

Signs on all the small businesses, people wearing masks. Those are things that are a little shocking to see, but then you get used to it. But I think this cuts the cake for the most shocking change that I've seen.

-shows new priorities
-expresses the 'owners' desire to help
-gives hope to trust
-makes us feel like 'we're in this together'
-Makes one feel the tragedy of of our situation
-Makes me wanna hug the person that did it - after a vaccine is found.

Bette Midler - The Glory of Love Lyrics

You've got to give a little
Take a little
And let your poor heart
Break a little
That's the story of
That's the glory of love...

You've got to laugh a little
Cry a little
Until the clouds
Roll by a little
That's the story of
That's the glory of love...

to "safety" issues, even if there were no virus this would be an issue. We have these around my neighborhood but they have books in them still.

Came up with the idea of a free store. This is a picture of a free store.

Good on the people that run the little free store/library

The capitalist assholes so hate free stores and the people who made them they burned the few that existed and started really taking off to the ground.

In fact, it even looks like it. Ours has been converted to food, too. We live in a middle class neighborhood. Not poor by any stretch of the imagination. But we have folks who need help. Who need food. Our food banks cannot handle the need so we sent money. They can make dollars go for the items they need most.

There are many kind and thoughtful people in this world. The little house with food is just one bit of evidence.

No reason why the country can't come out of this smarter and better. Might have to jail a Republican or two first. If that's the price, it's worth it.

They have had food in them for awhile. One on my neighbors, who started with one, now has five little houses.

Something important to remember - personal hygiene items are also needed.
