(33,643 posts)Calling it 'Moore's Documentary' or whatnot is kinda disingenuous, given he's known as a director especially.

(4,465 posts)this hack job, more than the director/writer, so it is accurate. His failure to engage in even grade school level fact checking is deplorable.

(9,117 posts)I am one of those people who partially agrees with many Greens that burning carbon fossil fuels is a bad thing (Im also pro-nuclear, but thats another argument for another time). The fact is the electrics ARE cleaner than their internal combustion counterparts. And i/c vehicles generate a lot of particulate as well as chemical pollution. If guys like Moore wish to ignore the effects of I/c vehicles, he should not only visit the City of Angels, but also smog havens like Pittsburg, Denver (During an inversion) or, if hes brave, the most glaring example in North America: Mexico City. First-hand experience is a great teacher.
When talking about electric vehicles, let us also not forget electric railroad locomotives. Electric locomotives are a PROVEN, mature technology that has worked for over a century.
